What should we wear?
We all want photos of our families to be a true reflection of our personalities, so I suggest that you wear clothes that you feel really good in! It is often a good idea to start with your outfit (mum’s!) and work everyone else’s around that. Choosing a neutral palette of 4-5 colours can make it easier to dress the whole family so that you all look coordinated, but not too matchy-matchy! I always suggest you avoid busy prints and logos on your clothing, as these can detract from your beautiful faces and date your photos.
Is there an option to purchase all photos?
Yes. My packages have a specified number of images included so that you know upfront exactly what you are paying for and what you will receive. Sometimes we have such a great time that I end up taking many more images though! In this case, you will be able to select the specified number of your favourite images from your online gallery to download, with the option to purchase the remaining images at an additional cost. This cost is based on how many additional images there are and varies from shoot to shoot.
Please note, these remaining images are not for individual sale, all remaining images are purchased as a package for the amount quoted.
What if my kids aren’t cooperating?
I’m a mum too, I know how stressful the thought of needing your kids to follow instructions and smile on cue can be! But, please don’t be worried… I allow plenty of time for us to warm up to one another and am very respectful of their unique little personalities, which is why I ask you to tell me about them in the questionnaire before we meet. If you are feeling relaxed for the shoot, they will be too. Our sessions are about enjoying your family… I’m just there to capture those beautiful moments…
How long before my photos will be ready?
I aim to have a “sneak peek” image posted on my Instagram and Facebook account within 48 hours of your shoot. I do try to tag people but unfortunately this isn’t always possible, so keep an eye on my socials and feel free to share the posts with your family and friends!
The full gallery usually takes between 2-4 weeks to prepare. As soon as it is ready for you to view I send you an email link!
Can our shoot include our extended family?
Absolutely! I offer an extended family package so that you can have all of your favourite people in your photos! If there are only a couple of additional people you would like included in your shoot (e.g. grandparents only) I can provide this as an add-on to my standard family package. Please let me know at the time of enquiry / booking to ensure that the price for the session is accurate.
What are the options for having my photos printed?
You are welcome to print your images wherever you choose. Having your photos up and visible in your home is the most important part!
That said, using a professional photo lab to print your photos and wall hangings using archival grade materials and inks makes an incredible difference to the quality of the end product. All bespoke products printed through my professional lab are covered by an incredible warranty that ensures that you are 100% satisfied, and if there are any little hiccups we will get them sorted for you, no questions asked.
